Knight's Journal: Anger

Anger is not an emotion that is to be denied, washed away, or ignored. Nor, is it a license for Sin and recklessness. It must be MASTERED. Do not confuse Anger with "Vengeance" or "Malice".

"Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy" - Aristotle

"When anger rises, think of the consequences" - Confucius

"Be angry and sin not" - The Apostle Paul

"Anger; Restrained" is the definition of MEEK. Meekness is a virtue of Biblical merit, and is to be sought after by the Godly man. Jesus Christ displayed Anger in many situations, and yet, he NEVER sinned in his Anger. Unlike the Buddha, he embraced his emotions, and mastered them.

If you want to honor the Father with your God-given emotions, then follow His way and teachings. Learn to master your anger, and temper it into MEEKNESS.
